Every email your company receives, checked for freight fraud.
LaneScout Mail Guard protects a freight company’s whole Google Workspace. Every new email in every mailbox you choose is checked within seconds against the scams that hit carriers, brokers and dispatchers — and an AI analyst reads the ones that could cost you a load or a payment. What deserves a second look gets a label in Gmail, and a note saying what to check.

What it protects you from
Payment fraud
Bank and remit-to changes, invoice redirects, fake factoring notices, fuel-advance and fee requests.
Load and identity fraud
Double brokering, impersonated brokers and carriers, look-alike domains, fake rate confirmations, fictitious pickups, reroutes, fake shippers.
Account takeover
Fake FMCSA and compliance notices, load-board and fuel-card phishing, fake setup packets, malware.
How it works
Every email, checked
Each new email is checked against what LaneScout knows about freight fraud, public FMCSA records, and your company’s own history with the sender.
The risky ones, read
An AI analyst reads the emails that matter most, the way a careful colleague would — and can only add a warning, never remove one.
Your team, warned in Gmail
A label on the email — Verify first or Worth verifying — and a short note on how to check it. One answer from your team covers everyone who got the same email.
This sender asks to move payment to a new account and asks you not to call the office.
- Call the company on the phone number you already have for it before changing any payment details.
Factual signals, not a verdict about any person or company. Mail Guard added this note to your mailbox only; it was not sent to anyone.

Protection that stays on
- If a mailbox is taken over, Mail Guard notices the changes an intruder makes and tells you.
- Alerts outside your Google go to a backup contact you choose, so a warning still reaches you if your company’s Google is in someone else’s hands.
- Protection can’t be quietly switched off — admin sign-in needs an authenticator app, and turning protection down is delayed and announced.
Working with your team
- Was it genuine? One click from the note. Your team’s answer updates every copy of the email, in every inbox.
- Ask the analyst about a sender, a domain, or an MC or USDOT number.
- One dashboard for every flagged email and what your team said about it.

14-day free trial, up to 10 mailboxes, no card. It starts when protection does — once your Workspace administrator connects it — not when you sign up. When it ends, protection pauses until you choose a plan; nothing is deleted. The AI analyst is subject to fair use; the checks run on every email, always. Security protections are the same on every plan.
Start the free trialSetting it up
- Sign in with your work email and name your company.
- Your Google Workspace administrator connects Mail Guard in the Admin console — about two minutes. If someone else runs your Google, send them a link; they don’t need an account.
- Choose the mailboxes to protect. Each one starts within a minute or two.
The trial starts read-only: findings appear in your dashboard and nothing is written to Gmail until you turn labels on. Mail Guard never sends, deletes, moves or edits email.
Your email stays yours
- Email text and attachments are not stored. Each email is checked and discarded.
- Bank account numbers are never stored.
- The AI analyst does not train on your email. Your company can switch it off.
- The full detail is in our privacy policy and terms.
Questions
Does it only check emails about money? No. Every new email in every protected mailbox is checked. The AI analyst also reads the riskiest ones.
Microsoft 365 or Outlook? Yes, in early access. Your Microsoft 365 administrator connects it once; the steps are in the setup guide. Labels appear as an Outlook category, and the note as a message in the Inbox.
Does it replace Gmail’s spam filtering? No. It works on what reaches the inbox, after Gmail’s filtering, and looks for the freight-specific fraud a spam filter isn’t built to see.
What if it flags an email that was genuine? Mark it genuine — the labels come off every copy, and Mail Guard remembers.
Is this the same as the LaneScout extension’s mail layer? Mail Guard covers the whole company and every email, with the AI analyst. The extension’s mail layer is part of LaneScout Pro, for one dispatcher.
